As an Operations Manager with D&S you will have strong communication skills, be very well organized, be experienced and skilled at managing & scheduling concrete and masonry projects, & will be safety conscious. Decorative & Structural Concrete and Masonry, LLC. opened for business in July of 2010. Since our beginning, we have specialized in concrete and masonry tenant improvements as well as commercial and structural foundation work. We often take on projects that push our abilities and force us to grow in our knowledge base in the construction services field.  Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for managing, mentoring, training associates to maximize business efforts and create a cohesive team 
  • Ensuring that field operations maximize the efficient use of crew labor hours, all related equipment scheduling, and ordering of materials
  • Schedule site visits & attend job site meetings
  • Work with estimator, foreman, employees, sub-contractors, and customers to effectively deliver results on fast-moving projects
  • Receive & distribute updated job information and plan changes.
  • Reviews and reports job P&L’s to GM's and Company President
  • Review and understand safety updates
  • Create relationships with sub-contractors, & suppliers 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Two (2) year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar program 
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in a leadership role within the concrete and/or masonry industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 365
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow systems and processes efficiently and accurately
  • Strong attention to details and excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, structural and architectural plans 
  • Ability to understand and exceed our client's expectations

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Four (4) year degree from an accredited university or college in related field of construction or equivalent experience.
  • OSHA 30 cardholder
